About

As owner of Cottage House Bakery & Cafe, I have made it my destiny to ensure kids of all ages, from all walks of life have access to specialized cakes. It is our mission to spread Cakes of Kindness in our community to those who need it most and to help raise funds so we may be able to fulfill our purpose, to help bring joy and Cakes of Kindness to as many people in need as we possibly can. We are committed to giving back, making a difference, and inspiring the next generation of bakers and entrepreneurs.

n the past, we have donated a number of cakes without funds, mostly to children and hard-working parents struggling to make ends meet.  The Covid 19 pandemic of 2020 made it challenging for us to get supplies, and ingredients and still make a profit so instead we took donations in exchange for personalized cakes. It brought us sheer joy to see many smiles of all the families we donated cakes to. It made us so happy to see so many people working together to help one another out and most importantly, it inspired us to continue to deliver Cakes of kindness whenever possible.

While Cakes of Kindness is working towards a certified status, we contribute tips and donations to provide personalized cakes whenever possible to those who may need it most. Our goal is to grow our foundation into something bigger, brighter and beneficial to our comminity by connecting with organizations, groups, establishments and community centers that cater to those in need. Our motive is to inspire, uplift & motivate; to raise funds and donations that will allow us to provide more cakes, to help those less fortunate, and to take action in building a sweeter tommorow, today. We pledge to offer products unsold at pop-ups, custom orders or special events, to the homeless, shelters, group- homes or organizations and offer our services free of charge. Ensuring funds are spent on fulfilling our mission and supporting our cause to gift as many personalized cakes to those in need as possible. Its more than just giving back to our community, these donations will minimalize waist, encourage others to do the same and spread Cakes of Kindness.

Cottage House Bakery & Cafe greatly appreciates all tips & donations which go primarily into a separate account funding Cakes of Kindness, specifically paying for any and all supplies needed for the making and delivery of these cakes. Cakes of Kindness is a non-profit, donations-based organizational branch of Cottage House Bakery that cares about its community and the people in it.

Cottage House Bakery takes nominations and suggestions for cakes to be donated or distributed via phone or email during hours of operation. Typically, a donated cake is a 6" or 8" round, buttercream-frosted, made-to-order cake OR baked goods such as cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, or other(s).  The size, details, and delivery of thus cake(s) or baked goods vary from case to case and depend on the need and situation of each case. Cottage House Bakery reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason or suspicion of anyone taking advantage of this service.
