Cottage House Bakery is a licensed & Los Angeles County certified CFO committed to providing friendly customer service, hassle-free ordering, and quality products that are made to order and customized to your specifications. We pride ourselves in communicating with our customers personally and forming long-term relationships that grow year after year. Our goal is to make it easy for our clients to get what they need when they need it, in a timely & hospitable manner. We understand everyone may have a different price range and budget in mind for their event and therefore strive to offer reasonable payment options and alternatives for every budget.
We aim to please our customers' overall experience including, taking calls during (but not limited to) hours of operation, answering any and all questions, creating detailed designs based on the customer's specifications, and delivering the product with satisfaction. We are not responisible for copyrighted material provided by the customer for which the customer takes for responibility when booking custom orders of any kind including (but not limited to) cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cakepops or any edible prints or imaging. We do our best to design and recreate create our own handcrafted edible works of art inspired by copyrighted materials, but it all comes down to the preference of the individual customer, what we are able to get & print, and the materials the customer may/or may not provide.
We ensure that the name(s), number(s), Address(es), and any other information including payment(s) are not to be sold, traded, or given to third parties for any reason. Our customer contact and contract information is strictly for the purpose of processing and completing the customer's order(s) per order and are not responsible for misinformation, bank fees, transaction fees, fraudulent accounts insufficient funds. If the customer gives false information on any platform whether it be over the phone, via our website/email, and/or via text, we are not responsible for wrongful information and can not offer any kind of refund or re-reimbursement. It is the client's responsibility to inform us of any and all updates in regard to their order including delivery, allergies, and contact information. Furthermore, if there are any last-minute changes to either the order, the design, point of contact, or a change in delivery address, the client may be subject to an update fee. *This fee may vary from client to client or depending on the specifications of changes.

We are honored that you have chosen us for your special celebration and grateful for the opportunity to showcase our work. We guarantee that the flavors, size, and general design elements will be met as outlined. If you are not satisfied with our product(s) please let us know at the time you receive your order. Once your order is accepted, refunds will not be considered. If something is not completely to your satisfaction we appreciate it if you would consider contacting us to help resolve any and all issues or concerns you may have.

Deposits(s)

A minimum deposit of $25 must be made in order to officially book date. **no exceptions.

payments & deposits are non refundable and non transferable

Cottage House Bakery can not offer refunds, returns or exchanges. If your event is cancelled or changed for any reason, another $25 deposit must be made to ensure your date.
Payment(s)

You can send payments towards your total Balance as often as you would like.

Balance must be paid in full prior to event/delivery.

If balance has not been paid by the event date, your order will not be delivered and you may have to pick up in person or pay a delivery fee, a late fee or a processing fee.

we are not responsible for fees charged by third parties such as bank fees, Zelle or Venmo.
Delivery

If is your responsibility to provide correct delivery information when placing an order.

we are not responsible if a order is delivered to an incorrect location due to typos, miscommunication, change in address or negligence.

Care Tips
Once your Order has been delivered, you will want to know some tip on caring, displaying and keeping your order looking and tasting its best.

Make sure to place your cakes, cupcakes and cake pops in a cool dry place away from bugs, heat, sunlight, pollutants, overhead trees or curious little hands.

if your event starts later and the day is fairly hot (70 and up) refrigerate cake, cookies and cake pops at least an hour prior to serving desserts.

let your cake stand at room temperature at least an hour before cutting.

In dry, cool, indoor conditions, your cake can be displayed up to 4 hours. sometimes more depending on air conditioning, humidity, and weather conditions.

if your cake begins to tilt, wilt or melt, don't fret. As the cake comes to room temperature, buttercream becomes softer and softer but that does not mean it has gone bad. the cake will not tip over unless purposely pushed or if the center dowel inside the cake is removed

please do not smash face in our cakes as there are dowels within the cake(s) holding them up and in place. remove dowels, skewers and/or straws before cutting and serving.

Left over cake, cupcakes, and cakepops should be stored in an airtight container and placed in the refrigerator to preserve freshness.

our baked goods contain no additives or preservatives and should be consumed within 7 days. you may also wrap in plastic, place in an airtight container, and freeze for up to 4 weeks.
